The flies that matter most to pest professionals include house flies, fruit flies, phorid (drain) flies, bottle flies, and flesh flies. They breed quickly in organic buildup, garbage, drains, and decaying matter, and they move between waste and food surfaces, which makes them contamination vectors rather than just a nuisance.
